Have been with our teacher, Patrick, for five years. Best teacher we've had. And all the staff and faculty members are nice and helpful. Would strongly recommend to anyone.

The musical journey of my children began at an early age under the tutelage of Dr. Irina Pevzner at Charleston Academy of Music. CAM boasts a group of highly skilled professional musicians proficient in various instruments such as piano, violin, flute, and others. In addition to private lessons, CAM offers enriching classes in music theory, composition, and performance. These supplementary classes have not only broadened their musical horizons but have also instilled in them a deep appreciation for the arts. Throughout their time at CAM, my children have mastered numerous exquisite classical piano pieces. Beyond musical proficiency, CAM has also imparted invaluable life lessons such as diligence and discipline. Witnessing their growth both as musicians and individuals has reinforced my belief that enrolling them at CAM was one of the wisest decisions I've made as a parent.

An exceptional group of music educators servicing the Charleston area youth. Patrick Boyle is an incredible piano instructor, very patient, and easily communicates with kids about music concepts and performance. Nina Sandberg is a Suzuki violin instructor, and is also incredibly qualified, outstanding with kids, encouraging, and positive. My family has been so blessed to work with both for our kids, and I'm so thankful for this opportunity for my kids.

An academy where it's so much more than just taking music lessons!!!
High quality instructors who actually CARE about their students and an academy that is involved with community outreach programs and after school programs providing under priviledged children with the opportunity to become not only fine musicians, but ultimately, fine human beings with big hearts. And they recently relocated into a new and beautiful building. It's just awesome! Pros: quality instructors who truly CARE! Cons: none, honest.

I feel like part of a BIG, happy, and caring family...not to mention the highest quality of music instruction I could get in Charleston! It's not just about private lessons, but also chamber, group, orchestral ensemble, etc. TWO THUMB WAAAAAY UP!!!! Pros: the STAFF!! Cons: NONE.
